WHAT IF JESUS CAME IN A BIG WHITE PETERBILT?


This poem is created from a song I heard on a
cassette tape called...."What If Jesus Came
To L.A. In a Big White Peterbilt? One of
many songs on this tape. I would like to give
credit to the singer, whose name I do not
know. If anyone knows who He is please e-mail
me and let me know. I wrote this poem as I was
inspired to. Thank you.


WHAT IF JESUS CAME IN A BIG WHITE PETERBILT?


Heard Jesus came to L.A. in a big white Peterbilt,
did you happen to see him or hear him?
Sure He announced himself on the CB as this is
Jesus, breaker, breaker, is there anyone out
there wanna talk to me?

Then there was silence, as you could hear the
roaring of the eighteen wheelers going down the
road. Breaker, breaker, this is Jesus, no need
for you all to stop talking, I have heard it all
before. 10-4 out.

Just then G.O.D. passed Jesus, and someone said
breaker, breaker, I don't know if your Jesus, but
GOD just went by. 10-4 out.
Breaker, breaker, this is Jesus, heard you missed
me the first time I was here, so I came back to
tell you I am coming again.l0-4 out.

Breaker, breaker, Jesus this is Fisherofmen here.
I am the speaker for the 12 apostles you trained.

Why in a Peterbilt instead of a chariot?

Jesus here to Fisherofmen, my Chariot doesn't have
a CB, so I brought the Peterbilt to talk to all
the truckers on the road. 10-4 out.

Breaker, breaker, Fisherofmen to Jesus, good choice
there Jesus. Jesus could hear that all the truckers
CB's were on, and they were listening to the
conversation. The sounds of grunts, and groans, and
snickers.

Fisherofmen, Jesus you still with us, your quiet now?
